re: telecom equipment stocks,
The cat is so out of the bag. Looks to me that they will end going down in a thud.

why not wait till all the holders that were left behind are sold out?

I got tempted by the networkers but held back my buys. Prefer to see some bounce before gettting in although I will still try to catch this "falling knife" soon...ahead of the FED meeting.

What might be a good strategy could be to pick stocks that sell into the enterprise market and avoid those with a big focus on carriers. It looks like the selling is indiscriminate and that usually sets up good buying opportunities....and I will be looking at those in the enterprise market. Decided to avoid the big ones like Lucent, Nortel, JNPR, CIEN for now but if they keep sinking, might take a second look. In the meantime, there are others like EXTR to look at.

NT and LU---new lows!

So far, shorting the rallies in the group have worked; I have a bit of that as well.
