Something tells me that they have more to fear from a Typhoon (with the accompanying ocean surge), than global warming.

Btw, I thought I should mention that discussing global warming isn't necessarily a non-financial discussion. There are VERY lucrative profits to be made from selling carbon credits to meet CO2 reduction goals in the Kyoto Treaty.

The guy who wants to "seed" the ocean with Iron oxide, to create CO2 absorbing algae plumes, wants to make an entire business selling pollution credits based upon all the additional CO2 he is able to get the ocean to absorb.
