Palm is looking to Michael Jordan edition handhelds to help it regain momentum Well that's it, then, game over. Barely out of its infancy and the PDA biz has already come to celebrity sponsorship. ;-) Hey, anybody played with that color Clie? I've heard some comments that it's not very sturdy (ie cheaply built) and was wondering if any thread denizens agree.

As I predict, they will have another PALM SHORTAGE by Christmas again even with high inventory now, this too will pass. TMTA made the same error of rolling out new chips before selling their older Crusoe chips, they got cut in half and then some today. PALM now has an advantage that chip makers don't. With chips you just want the faster period. With PALM devices, they have high end models and cheaper models, which means MARKETSHARE GROWTH.
