Hi Bob,

Welcome back - wish I'd gone on vacation as well, especially as BLUE and other gizzards have turned out. Today I dumped most of my gizzard trading fund early as NAZ weakened - out of DMED for profit, COSN, AKLM, both for fractional losses (but still double digit percentages) and tho not horrible, more than I should have allowed.

Went short KLAC (@ 57.5) and a 2d NVLS short (@ 54), fading the morning's gap about half an hour into the day. Covered KLAC @ 53.5 and yesterday's NVLS short (from 53.24) @ 50. Still in today's NVLS short and SBUX and swearing off holding multiple gizzards for the time being; markets not conducive to trying to hold them.

A tip for anyone wanting to trade stocks in a sector (long or short) - in addition to keeping a chart of the sector's index (like the SOX or BTK) I keep a comparison chart of selected stocks in the sector and a quote page of the index components and other primary stocks in the industry - this allows you to quickly see relative strength or weakness. The comparison chart is set at 1 min in eSig. The comparison quote page is in QT which sorts by percentage gain for the day. I've also been using a SAR indicator in QT and looking forward to its inclusion in eSig soon - very useful for spotting reversals along with shorter stochs, MAs and TLs.

Good luck on LU, I'm not going to pick bottoms on gizzards in this market - I'll give up some profit for the insurance of a pattern I can trade.

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
