I was pleasantly surprised to see an add last week in the Houston Chronicle for a QCP-6035 on sale for use on the Sprint network.

I dont follow the PDA market closely....but it has been interesting to watch Palm/Handspring announce that sales have fallen off a cliff since the first quarter. I have yet to see an analyst comment that the QCP-6035 could be providing ANY contribution to the reduced sales by those two companies. I know that most of the downturn is probably due to the economy....but at $500 per unit, Kyocera must be pulling some revenue away from these two companies. Cant find a source...but I remember hearing/reading that the Kyocera handset division turned profitable during April due to the launch of the QCP-6035.

Now, if Kyocera can just reveal their plans on 1x handsets. They have been completely quiet....
