ajtj, I think that today's decline from the opening gap tells us everything we need to know about that 1776 gap being filled near-term. If we don't continue today's downward slide (and I think we will), we certainly have no impetus to drive us up.

ajtj, I'm thinking that inasmuch as this is Ellison's rally, NDX and COMPX will dive when ORCL starts printing new lows for the day. I'm guessing it'll happen within the next half hour.

A/D line now negative,14.8/15.9<Max, the herd is having a hard time maintaining the gap at open> i have been hearing the talking heads spinning all day about the good news out of ORCL and positive impact on the market ,and the more their morning copy isn't re-written the sillier these talking heads sound.max

aj regards NDX100,with upside resistance compressing(the lid coming down)---a breakdown to near 1600 not unlikely for the next test near term.max

ajtj, we've bumped up against the bottom of that NDX gap twice in the last two days without going into it. I still don't think it'll get filled except maybe on a Fed rally. What do you think?
