So I finally had to do it. I called 1-800-3-schwab. Asked the gentleman on the phone(first if it was he in the commercial<G>) than asked him to direct me to the other serious corrections we have had in the last 40 years. He obviously couldn't answer my question. He could only say he is sure the market has had ups and downs and <advertisment> Schwab could help me stay protected in this down turn because a recovery is coming and they know where the opportunities are. I thanked him for his time and declined the opportunity to set up an account with them.
