Taking the question in general terms--do you believe that having an abortion in a country where
abortions are illegal is safer than having an abortion in a country where abortion is legal??

Generally I do think abortion is safer for the woman having the abortion if abortion is legal. (Of course either way its not very safe for the unborn child). I do however think there has been a lot of exaggeration of the deaths caused by illegal abortions in the US before Roe vs. Wade, and probably atleast a slight undercount of the deaths and negative health consequences to the mother having the abortion since abortion became legal everywhere in the US.

Secondly, do you believe that unsafe abortions are unsafe, and is it fair to say that that which is unsafe is also an endangerment??

Commiting an armed robbery is also unsafe but I don't think that is fair to consider laws against it as an unfair or horrible endangerment of the armed robber.
