I don't understand how this applies to Joe Osha. If his recent miscalls are only human, then why is he being paid more than your average human? Why is he in a position that has more influence than most humans ever dream of having?

Maybe a more appropriate comparison would be to Hollywood.

I guess that in a better world there would be a presumption that as an analyst, they are unbiased, and that their recommendations are based solely on open minded analysis of information.

And what is their real value, to their customers, if there is any hint of prejudice? I would rather have no opinion at all, than one I thought could be colored by personal ambition or other motivations.
