Intel already offers a spectrum of speeds. Their new $2.5 Billion dollar FAB is making chips that bin out as low as 866MHZ.

Intel doesn't need to use their limited .13 production capacity to make 866MHZ notebook chips when they are swimming in .18 capacity that already does this.

AMD's Dresden is used to make 900MHZ and 1GHZ mobile chips and 1GHZ+ desktop chips only. They use their old paid-for FAB at Austin to make slow chips.

So far, not so good for Intel's .13 process.
