Did you hear Andy Bryant two weeks ago specifically deny that Intel is doing any channel stuffing, setting himself up for lawsuits if he were lying? Did you also hear him say it wouldn't make sense for customers to build inventory since Intel can ship very quickly? I can't believe you missed these things, Albert, since you appear to live on SI. You either have a short memory or you speak with a forked tongue.

Albert,
Could you please shed some more light on the "channel stuffing" charge. Is'nt most of the demand "just in time" these days? Does somebody like Intel have the power to stuff the channel, and how would you do it? Also, do their revenue recognition policies allow for this sort of "slack"

Regards,

Kushi

Albert, RE: "intel is stuffing the channels"

Possibly Osha hasn't checked out the financials of the distys, or their cash flows, to know this comment appears to be a nonsensical suggestion because:

Building inventory goes counter to increasing cash flow.

For a disty, cash is particularly king since disty margins tend to be razor thin, probably more so in this economy.
