Be sporting. Make a positive claim, a prediction. Such as: "The Intel i845 is a fake. It will never work. And even if it does, everyone will keep buying Rambus memory because they love its price/performance ratio." That's just an example; I'm not suggesting you would ever hold such a silly view.

Moi? Of course not.;)

Honestly, I don't think the i845 is a fake. I think it is another instance of Intel purposely crippling a chip in order that it can better price discriminate in the market. Nothing more, nothing less. Been standard Intel operating procedure for more than a decade.
