Re: "AMD might be considering moving ahead of schedule with hammer after unexpected demand for itaniums in Japan"

Now THERE's a STRETCH !!

ITanium demand is strong - and DESPITE AMD's recently announced DELAYS in their Hamster product development, AMD can now suddenly ACCELERATE that program - just because the Japanese are rapidly adopting ITanium.

Talk about AMDroid logic !!!!

I guess these Japanese can just run their ITanium code on those new Hamsters - eh?

Albert, <AMD might be considering moving ahead of schedule with hammer after unexpected demand for itaniums in Japan, who knows...>

Ever the pipe dream of a project manager. "Hey, unexpected demand for our product! Let's just move up our release date by a month or quarter! No problemo!"

By the way, from my point-of-view, I don't see why the demand for Itaniums in Japan should be "unexpected."
