Haven't seen a turkey since I was in US, although
I read my Portnoy and his problems at a fairly
early age.
Philip Roth, for the lazy ones, check the complaints too

If I remember right there was a movement to
make the US turkey the national bird of US??

Jefferson or Franklin??

Ilmarinen

Additionally Finland and Turkey has long cultural
bonds, lately through Sonera and Turkcell, earlier
through Kemal Ataturk, bonded by the common neighbor.

And finally finns have a strong sense of shamanism,
being part of nature, just like the first citizens of US.

We have never really understood that "beastly nature" of
angloamericans, always paid respect to all the
other animals, besides ourselves.

That is why the green party is doing very well in the
government.

So what is your view on turkeys, besides smartly adapted
birds and stuffing them once a year??
