Hmmm interesting idea Michail,

Couple of thoughts from an amateur photographer.

I keep thinking no.
Why cant they refocus their business?
Digital Cameras are killing them.

The niche where their products fit has AND WILL BE REPLACED by the digital camera. Film based cameras will still be around because of their fine grain, and color saturation and the overall pleasure of taking pictures.

However the polaroid instant camera offers none of that. Digital camera resolution has now, IMO reached the quality of instant polaroid at the same or less cost and virtually the same convenience. Once you get past that it's a commodity business which they have no reputation for technology or market share.

With that said i have to ask HOW CAN THEY RE-INVENT THEIR BUSINESS?

Sorry but i'm just not seeing it right now.
