RE: OA Investor Conference clarification

My post was paraphrased from my hastily scribbled notes, the presentation (which I received a copy of even though I missed most of it), and comments made during the follow "break out" session.

Do not take them as direct quotes from the company. I barely understand this stuff, and may have misquoted or misunderstood something.

My impression was that service providers and end-users were both customers, although they would like to concentrate on the service providers.

I asked, and was told, that the equipment was completely scalable, so a customer could buy the equipment depending on their anticipated usage, and easily upgrade when and if needed ("pay as you grow"). I am not sure if OA will see revenue on a recurring basis, other than servicing contracts. I was under the impression that they would, but I cannot find the reference in my notes, so it may be optimistic thinking! Consider that the presenter was an engineer, so the focus of the presentation was on OA capabilities and technology, not on the financials, other than to say that they will be profitable in Q4.

Look for Chet White's report. He was there, better prepared (remember I was registering at 8:20 when I happened to notice on an updated conference schedule that OA was presenting at 8:00. By the time I finished registering and found the room it was 8:25 and the initial presentation was almost over.), and should clarify a lot of these questions.
