Hi X, Thank you for what you said to flapjack. I tend to agree. It's been a month since I left SI, and after getting over the "posting DT's", I've been amazed at how many more hours there seem to be each day and how delightful it is to fill them! I am grateful to a couple of the more nefarious SI characters around here for their inadvertant improvement of the quality of my life. I think one of the reasons that there hasn't been activity on this thread is that the Jeffords defection has shifted the balance of political power to a level that I'm certainly more comfortable with. I started this thread during the election debacle when I felt the need to have a place of consolation and friendship in the face of that ugliness. In that sense, this porch has served its purpose well and I too have made some good friendships here as a result. I'm so happy to hear that life is treating you well. My best to you, my friend.
