You forget the NAS crashed under Clinton.

And yes the GOP gets credit for balancing the budget and providing a surplus against Clinton's wishes. The GOP also stopped his frightening schemes like HillaryCare.

No one can doubt that the economy Clinton inherited was on a strong upward trajectory - continuing the Reagan Boom - while Clinton left a morass - stock crash, energy crisis, surging unemployment and economy in decline.

Dems always do that.
