I haven't heard of such cases although I'm sure they exist. I'd say it's akin to fraud (obtaining money by deception?), if not quite extortion. It's criminal, anyway. I've got no sympathy whatsoever, although I see where you're coming from. If we accept my 'limited responsibility' case, then I'd say the first requirement is that the woman have pregnancy (and if requested, paternity) tests paid by the putative father; if she's lying, he's learnt a cheap lesson and she's gained nothing...

LOL, still, paying the clinic directly by credit card probably would work.
