GV,

In bold from ML's P&P manual:

"Communications which could be interpreted as disparaging to the character or integrity of a company's management, or offensive to public sensibilities, are prohibited."

GV,

re: "It might not be a smart practice, but it certainly is legal."

If I were to publish that Tucker Capitol Management was using inappropriate accounting to misstate and improve it's performance, would that be libelous? Would you feel you had the right to legally challenge my statement?

Libel - "A defamatory statement or representation esp. in the form of written or printed words; specif A false published statement that injures an individual's reputation (as in business) or otherwise exposes him or her to public contempt."

Andy Bryant has stated that Intel is not stuffing the channel, but is filling orders as they are received. Osha implies that Intel is stuffing the channel to make it's numbers.

re: "The primary mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is to protect investors and maintain the integrity of the securities markets." -
I don't see anything in Osha's comments that would be relevant.

I do.
