LOL,

Interesting, I have been playing with the DOW & comparing it against the Dow Transports on the Monthly chart. On the upper trend line draw a line connecting the peaks on these dates: April 30/99, Jan 31/01 & May 31/01 (lower highs & a very nasty looking "M" on the last two peaks)

For the lower trendline, draw a line connecting these dates Nov 30/94, Feb 29/00, Sept 30/00 & todays date.
bigcharts.com

Not sure what to make of the pattern & it's validity but we are sitting on the lower trend line & lower highs have been printed (weekly & daily charts confirm) Is that a triangle or a rising (bearish) wedge? (linear chart only, log doesn't connect all the lower date lines, but pattern appears intact)

& interesting chart on the DOW 30 bigcharts.com

Should be interesting to see if the DOW confirms the action on the transports (or should it be the other way around?)

Still learning, so... please be kind to me. <g>

Comments?

Regards,
Peter

I typed that from a jail cell, where seating is limited

I assume you were typing with your toes as you were surely wearing a straitjacket ;-)
