Making sure you keep utensils clean and your product safe is paramount for sure. I often wonder at pot luck meals "how was this prepared, cooked and stored before it got to this table?" The only time I allow myself and my hubby sausage, is when we go camping. I love cooking it in a cast iron pan over a fire. Serve it along with eggs, over easy and white bread with butter and uuuuummmmm now that's a camp breakfast. Are you going to try the "apple, walnut sausage thing?" ;-) M
