I think a wave of consolidation is around the corner, as the weakest of the weak CLECs and others are bought up for pennies on the dollar via merger or bankruptcy. Surely this will have a short term domino effect on suppliers (especially those who "bought" business with creative financing terms) but ultimately even long haul FO/networking suppliers will benefit as more of the 'dark' fiber is brought online. We know MRVC isn't exposed to those financing losses that others may be.

In the meantime the Metro and FTTx spaces will be the bright spots we can look to for gains since connections to the ultimate user are going to continue to grow at a high pace for broadband suppliers. Maybe not as fast a pace but budgets for BB will be found at the user level as we close in on Q4, IMO.
