Yep, that's exactly what fed is thinking. The core CPI does not include anything related to food, shelter, energy. Why do we need food, house, energy anyway? Just keep buying PC, SUV...

Haim As you know I run 3 small companies, and my costs are going up, as are my prices. Everytime I see CPI I shake my head in disbelief. I own 10 computers and a few sell phones my gas and food bills are in the Millions of dollars. Which has a bigger impact? My Insurence costs are up 30%, and labor though a litlle looser aint going down either. Fourtunatly my business is still picking up but others in same industries are getting hammered. Docks a resteraunt chain in NYC lunch biz iz down 50% YOY which is huge. Liquor sales people are crying the blues about how bad resteraunt biz is getting.
