Oooh... neat thought... stock is cyclical so PE should go up while at cycle bottom...

But be careful what you are saying. Our tech friends are being priced as though earnings will increase, up up and more up for the next 25 to 50 years. Isn't that the supposed reason for the letter "G" to be used to refine a ratio that is more applicable to cyclical stocks than it is to tech growth stocks?

Not up down up down up down.

If cyclical, we would want to use RMS value of earnings discounted, not growth value discounted.
