I made two points to you: Firstly, that the developed countries were legal abortions and the developing and undeveloped were mainly illegal. This you knew without statistics. You also knew that illegal abortions were unsafe. You did not need the statistics I gave you for that, either. You do not argue for making hospitals, surgery, clinics, etc. illegal in order to improve safety, because only an idiot would think that taking all of these things underground would make them safer than keeping them legal, trained, and before the eyes of the public. You don't need to see the statistics to know all these things, but I gave them to you anyway. You didn't need the statistics to know that mothers die hundreds percent more often in illegal abortion attempts than in legal ones. Only an idiot would think that illegal abortions are safer than legal ones. No, you're not playing dumb. But you seem to think that saying, "no-I can't see it--what is that--no--i don't see that--there are other differences in the world--that's not necessarily true--no--i don't see that" is a powerful and respectable argument. You have not given one shred of evidence--NOT ONE SHRED--to counter the statistics showing no appreciable difference in abortions undertaken where they are illegal versus legal. NOT ONE. You have not shown one shred of evidence to show that illegal abortions are safer than legal ones. And you know what? You aren't going to!! Because there aren't any!! All you can say is, "no I don't like your statistics you did not count the mice in all the countries of the world, you did not compare the amount of sunlight, you did not compare the type of vegetation, all you did was show the number of evil women being killed so that doesn't prove a thing. I claimm that "maybe" some other variable makes the numbers of abortions coincide--that making them illegal really does reduce incidence dramatically and it just doesn't show. This is my argument but I can't make it so I keep asking you to make it for me. I have no statistics for this, and I will not suggest the variable or attempt to argue my position. My position is based on that I don't like your position or your statistics and I'm impartial and I'm right and you can't change my bloody mind with the facts, Solon. No, Tim. I guess I can't, LOL! And you can't change mine by saying: "Maybe, maybe, may be, may be, maybe, maybe." But you are welcome to keep giving me your "argument" that "maybe" there is a secret variable messing up the statistics on incidence of abortion, and that woman die far less when abortions are illegal than when they are legal! And you are welcome to keep asking me to find your missing variable for you! (but there would ALWAYS be a missing variable Tim. THere would ALWAYS be something! Love your "arguments", Tim. Let me hear them sometime.
