Transmeta reiterates Q2 revenue guidance

TOKYO, June 13 (Reuters) - Transmeta Corp co-founder and vice chairman Dave Ditzel on
Wednesday reiterated his company's view that revenues in the second quarter would be near or
slightly higher than the first-quarter figure.

The microprocessor design company reported first-quarter revenues of $18.6 million.

``A lot of people are being cautious,'' he said of the current climate in the chip market, which has been hit hard since the end of last
year by a sudden slowdown in demand for high-tech goods such as personal computers and cellphones.

``Having shorter lead times in terms of orders, we can't give any guidance that's any better or worse than that,'' he said. ``With a lack
of visibility we can't advise otherwise.''
