Ironic you should say that. I had a conversation with a coworker this morning where I played the cynic.

By the way, my so-called "worshipful" attitude toward Intel was already corrected way back during the Pentium FDIV fiasco when I was a bright-eyed bushy-tailed intern. Boy did the anti-Intel crowd have a field day back then. I wonder where they are these days ...
