Considering the likely level of Institutional and Pension fund money still trapped in Lucent it seems that the $5.00 level would be an almost impregnable floor of support due to margin and mutual fund requirements of not being able to own a stock below the $5.00 level?? I would guess if Lucent breaks $5.00 there would be a real huge institutional blood bath with HUGE volume, something that could really disrupt the overall market.

For this reason I doubt the big players will let that happen any time soon.

Also for that same reason, Lucent should be a relatively strong buy whenever it dips near the $5.00 level

Just a thought. I guess time will tell!
