"re:"Could this be the beginning of the summer rally??? Could be if SOXX gets thru 666, DOW penetrates convincingly 11000 and Nas gets thru 2200!!! AMD $30.05 but flexing!!! "

Hey how are u doing??

Besides losing your shirt, hope you are OK.

Have n't seen many positive posts from you.

Now we are stuck with DRBES!!!"

Looks like the rally may have to wait as economic storm clouds keep piling up...Thanks for your expression of concern, and yes I'm OK, so far, and, yes, I've been Norteled...The negative scenario that is unfolding is not the one I had in mind for the summer, and as such, has not generated an abundance of positive thoughts...Here's hoping the summer economic storm clouds dissipate sooner than later!!!

RE: "Now we are stuck with DRBES!!!"

It is not at all easy to call a bottom. AND...my self declared timing is notoriously, by my own admission, terrible; so I wish to not add to the colloquy of confusion ( I do like alliteration ) by adding my own predictions. However, and I do in almost every such post seem to have a "however", we are suffering through through some seasonal "CRAP". that the ANALysts appear to want to extrapolate, since that seems to be what they believe that they are paid for, towards the next millennium ( now even more far off than it used to be ). To repeat a paraphrase of a cliche ( and I do so hate cliches, even when they fit ) : "THESE ARE THE TIMES THAT TRY OUR SOULS"! ! ! ( an overused and over-paraphrased and misused one at that ) These can also be the time of these greatest opportunities. If only we could read the next quarter's NYTs, or Barrons's, or even NY Posts, we could act with more certainty and justified conviction.

Patient (but laying low) Regards,

DARBES
