expect the Fed to lower interest rates too much
just like they raised rates too much

the result will be a mini-boom by late 2002
the Fed will then cut it off by raising rates again
a big question for me is the resulting temporary inflation

the real solution is to allow the shortend to float with the equilibrium-based bond market
heard that before, never will happen
the Fed is having way too much fun in control of the world
both up and down
