"What a guy." I agree.

However, where do you get this..."..." What he meant was, he loved all people, generously, whether they agreed with him or not. "

Seems to me that there were plenty of people and regimes that he did not like at all. Why didn't he say "I am a Hindu, Christian, Buddist, Moslem, Communist, Capitalist and a Jew? or some other mix. He chose a particular mix of belief systems and they all reference the God that you continually bash. Do you have a licence to determine the intent of Ghandi?

"I want to revere that which is really good." Great, me too.

"Not that which calls itself good, but is clearly separatist (and that is "bad" in my book)" Ah, the "Boys Town" model. I hear they are hiring.

RE:Who wants a jealous God? I want Gandhi.

What we want is irrelevant. Nobody ever came back and told me about heaven and/or hell after they died, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see if there is anything beyond this life.

RE:I want Gandhi.

Was he pro-choice? Somehow, I doubt it.
