I don't quite understand that either. It is my understanding that for offtrack internet betting at the track in New Orleans, one must mail in a check. But I remember that courts routinely rule whatever is legal in the brick & mortar world must be legal in the cyber world, and casinos are chock full of ATM's. And you must remember that these credit card bans are just a last ditch effort by gambling opponents to ban internet gambling since direct bans have been defeated. And the Leach bill in Congress (which appears to be going no where) exempts credit cards bans in states where internet gambling is legal. So even it has a carve out. And in these state bans that appear to be cropping up, their emphasis since to be banning offshore internet casinos which is fine with me. In other words, the state legislators want to keep future internet gambling taxes in the state.
