Why should the United States follow Europe's lead? The continent has been embroiled in wars of its own making for centuries.

That got me to thinking. Since the American Revolution, the US has engaged in
1 Civil War
1 war against a neighboring state (the Mexican War of 1846)

Since the American Revolution, the European nations have engaged in
at least 3 civil wars (1830, 1848, the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s)
at least 4 wars against neighboring states (the Napoleonic Wars, the Franco-Prussian War of 1870, WWI, WWII)

That's to 2 to 7.
And these people are to lecture us on how to keep the peace?

Cheney shift on missile defense

While Junior George sleeps it off at his farm Cheney is changing the rules for him again. No wonder he looks like a dufus since Cheney won't keep him in the loop. I wonder if Cheney lets George use the scissors and paste yet?
