Agreed. We are behind our European friends

When we furnished our house last year we had to decide whether to go HDTV or not. We decided to wait, though we did pay up for the digital sets which aren't quite HD, but really shine with DirecTV,

I believe we are still missing an actual standard here. The terminology used at times makes it confusing for many consumers.

They were less than half the cost of HD sets and the digital picture resolution smokes analog reception.
