Les: Thanks for your reply. Seems like you have a handle on all the traditional timing cycles. You are ahead of me regarding determining up or down at the projection dates well in advance. I rarely try to do that very far in advance. I just try to identify them and as the calendar closes in on the dates I try to get a handle on which dates will be significant and if so whether it will likely provide a high or low.

Stan Harley has posted regularly regarding his timing cycles on the Crystal Ball Forum. He has done extensive work and has been very generous with what he has found.

In fact, a lot of contributors on the Crystal Ball Forum are into timing cycles. It is a good place to keep updated. Personally, looking at traditional market cycles is only small part of how I construct my market expectations. For the most part, I use proprietary indicators, ones I do not share! (I share a lot of what I do, but I do keep a few things private...<g>)
