Hi Kastel,

Interesting articles FWIW thestreet.com
Why I hold K.to Some smaller companies are even more levered. For example, Morgan estimates that Kinross Gold's net asset value should increase by 400% or more for every 10% uptick in gold.
thestreet.com
Interesting...I don't accept that gold and gold stocks are doomed to march forever downward until they hit zero, and that the "barbaric relic," as John Maynard Keynes called gold, is consigned to the dustbin of history. I believe that gold always has had -- and always will have -- important monetary properties IMHO Gold has a "history" longer then history itself...all of course FWIW & IMHO

To try & balance the arguement... from Auther Hill The PHLX
Gold/Silver/Copper Index
($XAU) broke below flag support with a gap down and long black
candlestick. As
pointed out in yesterday’s commentary, this is bearish and I would look
for the
index to test support around 50 in the next few days or weeks.

Crazy markets,

Hi Kastel,

Daily chart of K.to stockcharts.com

Postives: As I write this it appears that K has bounced of the 50 day ema (which also is now major sopport from the weekly suppport), CMF barely positive, RSI curved back up towards 50, +DI sitting on -DI (possibly suggesting a real tug of war between the bulls & da bears.)

Negatives: ADX heading south indicating the prior has weakened, lower high on MACd, however still above the zero line, Slo Stoch declining. 5 day ema crossed below the 21 day ema... hopefully the DMI's don't confirm the ema's.

Normally I would sell when faced with such a chart... but I'm too fixated on Gold to probably make rational judgements FWIW & of course IMHO

Regards,
Peter
