While this downturn in the semi sector is more severe and will last longer than even now expected imo, IDTI is much better positioned for this major downturn than it had been for previous ones. Maintaining an emphasis on product development while cutting back costs in production and other areas will benefit shareholders long term. I cannot recommend the purchase of any semi stock other than for short-term trading purposes. IDTI is probably a buy at this level or on a retest of April lows but the macro economic conditions overtake mid-term prospects.
