Cary: Any long term sales estimates (guidance) in this market would sound crazy. You will not get it out of mgmt. JMHO: Internet traffic is doubling every 12 months, not every three, six nor nine months as we heard last year. Has been for 30 years. (In semiconductors, the corresponding timeframe for doubling speed is 18 months, and the downside is price drops by half every 18 too.) The nice thing about optical is traffic doubles / year, but component prices only drop 20-25%/year. (Bandwidth prices drop about half / year, so there is strong correspondence between Opti-Moores and Semi-Moores) This makes optical components the best sector to invest in, by far, especially given the current negative press / panic.
