That's certainly one reading of it, and I can see it in the daily chart of AMAT, for example.

But there are problems with it. The Nasdaq version of the VIX (the VXN), for example, is not where it should be if the market were truly "oversold." There's some serious divergence. I have no idea how it'll turn out. I just ain't buyin' here. I'll miss yet another great buying opportunity, no doubt. Maybe someone else can enlighten me on that divergence and tell me why it doesn't matter, why everything is going to continue up.

I thought yesterday that we'd have an up day today in the Naz. I wasn't so confident about what was to follow. But no one's paying me for my opinion, which shows what it's worth. I don't even get 2 cents for it. (Confidentially, some contributors to this thread have been sending me voluntary weekly contributions of $5,000, but I've been sending them back.)
