She thought she recognized that manly physique, but wasn't quite sure in the dark. It *could* be Bugs, but they had left him behind in the sewer sludge. She wrinkled her nose at just the thought of that horrid stench. (The sewer, not Bugs.) Iggy saw him coming, too. But, with Iggy's reptilian eyes, he was able to see better in the dark. Iggy was sure it was Bugs approaching. And, Bugs didn't look happy. Iggy hissed to Gator King, alerting him of the approaching angry humanoid. Gator King nodded to one of his faithful man-servants. Uh ... sorry ... Gator-servants, who immediately blocked Bugs path to the table. Bugs towered over the smaller gator, and looked directly at Muffy. Muffy felt no remorse for having ditched Bugs. After all, Gator King was a hunk in his own right, and he treated Muffy like a queen. In fact, she had visions of walking down the aisle with him, soon to be crowned Queen Muffy !! She was surprised at the scene layed out in front of her. Her first impulse was to count all the tables, and determine how many gators were there in total. But, she noticed Erroll and Meryl up on stage. "Aw, how cute!", said Precious. "I wonder where they found those cute little HamsterMikes (tm)". A gator sitting at a nearby table heard her, and decided to ask her to dance. She accepted, and they headed for the dance floor. Rusty Irons suddenly lost his bravado when he realized there were hundreds of gators in that room. He slowly lowered his baseball bat, then started whistling "Take Me Out to the Ballgame". He always did that when he was nervous. Gator King gently pushed Muffy behind him where she would be protected from any scuffle that might ensue, then looked up from the table directly into Bugs eyes. "You want something?", said Gator King ...
