When you get a good run in a stock like QCOM over a year ago, perhaps it is time to take some off the table and move it to a value fund such as Clipper. The latter has been up something like 33% over the last year providing a good balance to gorilla gaming (or biotech investing). Works best when tax sheltered. Worth considering, IMHO.

Dr. Id, Rather, there was often a reiteration of the author's (Moore's) point of there never being a bad time to buy a gorilla (which he has since retracted...), I think that's very misleading about the history of the folder because it presents a one-sided view of the facts. There was lots and lots of reiteration that his thesis was hogwash long before he supposedly withdrew it. It will be interesting to see how he addresses the issue in his upcoming book. I also think that there isn't enough attention to trying to measure when a stock is overvalued, by how much, and what it means in terms of whether to hold or let go. If you feel that way, I encourage you to encourage others to respond to the following polls in progress. I can tell you that based on preliminary response to both polls, there is astoundingly little interest in valuation in the thread if indeed there are many people who feel as you do. The polls: Message 15969872 Frankly, I think it's a case of people wanting to see what they believe and ignoring what they didn't want to believe more than warnings not being made in the thread.
