Futures breaking the 40 period ema on the 5 min, already broke the 20.

Lane, you will find me a lot less philosophical these days, as logic does very little good in the short term, and I am only trading the short term. I will likely take several days off from time to time during the summer and hopefully choose my situations wisely.

Right now, I think one only need trade stocks like QLGC and special situations. I love to take advantage of overreactions, but they need a day or two to settle.

The market is doing strange things and it is very very unpredictable. Just when the Market looks strong, the Market gets some bad news or spins some news in a bad way. Ditto on the other side of things.

When relatively strong stocks really drop down (like QLGC has under $50 a few times lately) I find that odds are that it will go back up nicely. One just needs to watch the futures for a powering up. It isn't always easy (and one has to really be wary of unexpected news) but having real time indicators really helps me.

RE: B to bill, your point is excellent!
