Don, for AVNX the 25 day MA is around 11.5 and the 50 day MA is above 14. Did you miss something there?. 8 would correspond to something like a 5 day MA. I think if AVNX holds above 7 until rate cuts.... may work well... but difficult to tell since it dropped like a rock from 8.5 to 7 in one afternoon on heavy selling. Interestingly other fiber optics stocks like FIBR and FNSR are showing stronger on their charts... I'll be honest I don't understand how the market behaves anymore.

AVNX ready to gap up Monday - keep the faith!!! Today while JDSU was obviously under accumulation by BIG players - AVNX seemed quiet. Then exactly at 4:01 p.m a BIG buyer stepped in skipping the price upwards. A block of 231,500 shares gapped the price from 8.20 to 10.50 and finally resting at 9.7. Conversely some BIG buyer sold out of JDSU at the same time. Price in extended trading reading 10.2!!! - more to come. It is interesting how the BIG buyers try hard to keep their actions concealed. This is a very good vindication that there is more to come next week - unless someone like Barrons' spoils our show. Just to keep this message clear - I am not advocating you buy this stock if you do not believe in it. It could drop as fast as it rises. All I am want to say is HOLD HOLD HOLD if you believe AVNX has a future because some very big fish would love to separate you from that conviction.
