LOL, that 'value' was created by a LACK of liquidity in those shares FYI... as well a WAY TOO MUCH liquidity provided by the fed for years. There never was 10trillion there, believe me.

Crystall, I can only applaud the decision of Europe to kick ass. GE is the most dangerous corporation in the world from their corporate culture to their highly leveraged bets.

The continuation or the existence and / or expansion of GE in the present form is a danger to the world economies.

Destruction of GE as a company will jump-start many other healthy and responsible companies.

DOT .COM's CSCO, LU, NT, SUNW etc. were peanuts in this respect.
