This tip has probably been posted at one time or another on the thread, but somebody might find it useful. pcworld.com Fast Monitor Resets Do you frequently change your monitor's resolution and color-depth settings to accommodate various programs and graphics? Here's a shortcut: Enable Windows' Quickres utility, and a small monitor icon will appear in your system tray. Click it once to display a list of all resolution/color-depth settings that your PC's monitor supports. In Windows 98 and Me, select Start, Settings, Control Panel, open Display, select Settings, and click Advanced; then, under the General tab, select Show settings icon on taskbar.
