>>I believe they (Louisiana folks) are complaining about Chinese crayfish import into the US, not realizing that
Chinese do not eat crayfish and the largest deal (in Sichuan province) is invested by US interest, including an
ex-governor of that state (I met on the plane in passing, do not remember the name).<<

I don't complain about Chinese crawfish (note Louisiana spelling) - I just don't eat them. They taste . . . . won't say like garbage, but like they eat garbage . . . . yucky. The ideal crawfish comes from the Belle River area, and tastes sweet and succulent, even after being frozen.

The difference is easy to taste.

As far as I am concerned, give all the Chinese crawfish to anyone who wants them, and save the Louisiana crawfish for me.;^)

Re: Louisiana ex-governor - if he had silver hair, was charming, and his accent was somewhat French, he was Edwards. A very droll man. In jail now, I think.
