Im stickin with pure and outright scams and junk that is at or near highs because its wallstreets darling sector stock

That is without a doubt the best tactic. Unfortunately since I cant afford your web site I've got only a vague clue as to what stocks you feel fit that catagory. I know HOMS of course, and have been long sufferingly short refusing to cover.

I'd love to see from you a regular outline of what positions you recommend similar to what Pump does. I'd be happy with a couple days or even a week delay from real time.

Appreciate your view that it's too soon to short WEBX. I went for a small position today @25.8, I'm pretty certain it will turn out ok in the end.

where was this " new Guru " in the bull market, in 1998, last year, last april 2000 ??

He was trading, mostly on the short side. Just like now. When a bunch of us found each other while shorting ADSP we formed a short club so we would stop clogging up the yahoo ADSP message board with commentary on other shorts. In the process we found that Pump was more skilled at this than the rest of us. Some of us (myself included) asked him to do this- post what he does real time so that we could learn from watching. He was kind enough to do it. No ulterior motive beyond that.

Eric

Anthony. You know that there are several of us who deeply admire (and have monetarily benefitted from) your investing skills/advice and battle-tested investment experience.

I think there are several Anthony-admirers who monitor Michail's thread who also admire what Michail is trying to do and has done. He's candid, announces his trades nearly real-time for all the world to see (compare that with Jenna, lol), willing to vet ideas posted by others, offer his insights and philosophy, and also provide basic investment advice and strategy. Whereas numerous threads emphasize primarily long recommendations or short recommendations, Michail provides both long/short recs, and always a new idea each day, in swing trader fashion. With so many recs, he's bound to be wrong on occasion, as many, if not most, of us have been. What's refreshing is that he admits it, takes constructive criticism or suggestions well, and presses ahead.

I monitor a few threads on SI (yours obviously, Sir Auric's, Mr Pink's, and Michail's) for good investment ideas and, often, for entertainment value when the discussions go OT.

I hope you keep an open mind about Michail's thread and, when you feel appropriate, jump in with your ideas and inputs. It would only make this thread stronger.

Bottom line: Imo, Michail appears thus far to be pretty darn good guy and trader, considering the frequency of his calls.

Always grateful for your insights,

Rupers

AP, I have followed your thread off and on for a few years. Some good picks, some duds ( the AEOS short ) just like MANY OTHER THREADS on si. No doubt, you have a profitable niche, and you have the most valuble asset - EXPERIENCE. Mr. Pump also seems to have A LOT OF TRADING EXPERIENCE as well. BTW I have made more money in the past 2 months trading a FEW of the picks on this thread than on any other. His style of trading seems to suit me a little better.

My 2 cents worth.....GM
