He was at one time considered to be a pretty good technician who used astrology as a way to get some media attention.
I would just caution against dismissing him as some kind of kook, as the media has done. I'm not saying he's right or wrong about this call, it's just the astrology thing is a way to get attention. Some of his timing calls over the years have been pretty good, in my opinion.

wouldn't dismiss it out of hand...he's a good technician. only tends to think exclusively in extremes...crashes and blast-offs are his specialty. i agree though that we're in a good period for an ST cycle low to be in...one of my fibo dates has produced a local low here (June 19).
but i think the decline following the bounce may well do away with the most recent lows. there's too much complacency...
