I called the governor's number..I really did! I got the switchboard, and explained my problem to the girl, and she was so nice. She started dialing numbers to connect me, and all she got was busy signals too. She finally connected me to some number, I'm sure it was a private number, and the woman started in with an attitude..."How did you get this number? This is for incoming calls..etc." I wanted to tell her all telephone lines were for incoming calls, but thought better of it. I was talking to a real live person, after all. She worked for the Transportation Dept. and was rather put out to have to deal with a low life like me.
